Ltd. George N. Owodo was the Springfield Group Chief Finance Officer (Consultant) from February 2023 to January 2024. He was responsible for managing the entire group financial resources; structuring the group for efficiency and effectiveness in operations; group risk management and control implementations; evaluating business opportunities and controlling investments; strategy formulation and financial performance assessments; ensuring statutory compliance; local and international negotiations, and recruitment of the CFO. George, as part of Springfield Group engagement, demonstrated his expertise in the management of oil transactions. George, Group Chief Finance Officer in charge of Finance, Risk and Internal Controls joined CH Group in 2013 to 2021. Sectors under management in CH Group were Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Agrobusiness, Telecommunication and Services. Prior to joining CH Group, he was the Finance Director of Eaton Towers Ghana for over 2 years and had over 10-years engagement with Stanbic Bank, holding various managerial positions including Senior Manager, Finance. He was also the Chief Finance Officer for Stanbic Investment Management Services Ltd, a subsidiary of the bank from 2007 to January 2011. He was a member of Finknack Advisory Services management team between 2011 and 2015. His wealth of knowledge and experience also extends into the aviation industry. He has audit assurance, advisory and tax administration experiences over the years across all sectors of the economy. Corporate restructuring, reorganization, strategy and policies formulation and implementation, human capital recruitments and management, financing arrangements and reporting, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, corporate distress resolution and system application implementation are his key strengths. George is well-versed in counseling, coaching, and mentoring of individuals, professionals and corporate employees turning non-performing individuals into high performers and performers into super performers. He is a situational and dynamic leader. George sponsors the Best Student Award for ICA level 2 Management Accounting Examination. George is a Certified Accountant, a Fellow of ICAG and Changed Management Agent with an accredited practicing certificate. He holds MBA in Finance and BSc Administration from the

George is a licensed Insolvency and Bankruptcy Practitioner by The Registrar General of Ghana. George is a member of ICAG Education and Training Committee.


renkyi Antwi is the Director of Operations at CSEL. Mr. Yirenkyi Antwi has been at the forefront of legal gold mining and trading activities since 2009 with a proven track record as a chief advocate for policy development and implementation in Ghana’s artisanal small-scale mining industry. Presently serving as the CEO of Gold Empire Resources Ltd., alongside his role as Director of Operations at CSEL. Emmanuel has over 15 years’ experience in gold mining and trading, commodities trading (sugar, rice, cashew and shea nuts), mining engineering, mine policy advocacy, and real estate development. Emmanuel is responsible for ensuring the efficient running of mining operations at GERL’s duly licensed mining concessions across Ghana. Owing to his keen interest in projecting and promoting the image of Ghana’s artisanal small-scale gold mining industry, Emmanuel has been a Board Member of the National Steering and Implementation Committee on the Minamata Convention, Republic of Ghana since 2017, as well as a Board Member of the Alliance for Responsible Mining. Emmanuel is a Certified Financial Analyst Candidate at the CFA Institute, USA; with a postgraduate certificate in Digital Strategy and Leadership at the Nobel International Business School (NiBS), Ghana.
